What does Ser mean?

Practice Version

Ser:
To be. Ser. Ser is a Spanish verb that means "to be" and is used to describe permanent characteristics.
Example:
Ser means “to be” in Spanish, especially when saying who someone is or what something is like: “Soy profesor” means “I am a teacher.” To remember it, picture Shakespeare holding a surfboard and asking, “To be or not to be… a SURFER?” The start of “surfer” sounds a bit like ser: before you can surf, you have to BE!
