What does Y Media mean?
Practice Version
Y Media:
and a half. y media. Y media means "and a half" in Spanish, often used to tell time or indicate 30 minutes past the hour.
Example:
“Y media” means “and a half”—especially when telling time: “Son las dos y media” means “It’s two thirty,” or half past two. Picture a clock starring in the MEDIA: its minute hand strikes a pose on the 6 and announces, “I’m halfway around!” Remember: when the clock gets its half-hour of fame, it’s “y media.”
